Litrtlewoods, Croal Mill

1994 Littlewoods

When I left school it was my final 6 weeks holiday before I was to start college to do A-Levels, or I had the opportunity to get an apprenticeship.

My dad got me a job at his workplace over the summer so that I could earn some pocket money. I had a great time. I worked in the Mail Room and unloaded trailers of returned stock. At 16 years old I wasn’t paid the same as the adults but it was money – I loved having a wage.
