Well done Bolton Council, not.

As I write this I'm sat on the town hall steps in Bolton with an almost deserted Victoria Square in front of me. Maximum of 35 people I can see. There are more pigeons!

I've seen at least seven beggars in the town centre within 5 minutes of seeing this sign. Well done Bolton council, your signs are working; or not as it may seem. The council need to do something to stop this antisocial behaviour. I hate being asked for money. It really puts me, and I guess a lot of people from visiting the town centre. The sun is shining and the town is dead.

It's so sad to see.

EDIT: I feel I have to point out that this is primarily relating to beggars in the town centre and them not being dealt with by the council. The 4th item on this sign is directly relating to begging. A sign is useless if nothing is done when these Prohibited Behaviours are being done. The number of people in town was an aside, but was related as I don't think that begging is helping.
