I saw this posted on Facebook. Not sure who posted it or where it came from. But I think I'm going to start posting interesting things I find relating to Astley Bridge, Bolton. I'm so proud of the area and love it's history. So here is a drawn map of Astley Bridge back in 1876. I can see lots of changes in the last 143 years; but also things that haven't. It's just brilliant.
