Brexit Party table day – Bolton North East – Tonge Moor and Breightmet (30/11/2019)

Today we were out early setting up two gazeboes in the bitterly cold morning. One of the gazebos was put outside the Library on Tonge Moor Road, Bolton. The second was put up nearby to Morrisons in Breightmet, Bolton.

Both gazeboes were manned all day from 10 am until 4 pm (give or take a few minutes due to Trevor and I helping to set up at both locations). Trevor, our Parliamentary Candidate, split his time between both locations and even got out for an hour delivering leaflets with other members of our team.

Being a very cold day we were all wrapped up and gloves were a necessity at times.

We had some in-depth conversations with members of the electorate. The footfall from these two locations was brilliant and although it was cold people seemed to want to stay around and talk politics - which is good as that was why we were there. Lots of positivity towards the Brexit Party and not too much negativity. There were the usual horn-honks of support from passing traffic. I think we will do really well in the coming election and Trevor will win a seat in Parliament.

All in all a very productive day - I can just about feel my feet again now that they have thawed out.

Look out for us next week and come and talk with us - the final weekend before the election. #VoteTrevorJones
