Brexit Party table day – Bolton North East – Astley Bridge (07/12/2019)

With 5 days to go until polling day, I started with a bit of leafleting in Astley Bridge.

Trevor Jones, the Bolton North East Parliamentary Candidate, and I then set up a gazebo at the corner of Blackburn Road and Crompton Way adjacent to The Pineapple pub. We set up at 10 am and stayed there until 4 pm.

This road junction is extremely busy and there must have been thousands of vehicles passing us today in the 6 hours whilst we were there. The support for the Brexit Party in Bolton is immense. There was the usual objection from people of different political persuasions, but in general, the feeling I got from passers-by and cars horn-honking was extremely positive. Having a gazebo gives the party (and Trevor) good publicity which I hope will turn into more votes.

It was again another cold day which turned wet in the afternoon; another successful day.
