Pub #1: The Thornton, Worsthorne

My mission to document all of Burnley's pubs has officially begun! It started with a lovely five-and-a-half-mile walk from Gemma's place this morning. On our travels, I noticed a pub called The Thornton and decided we should visit it later.

Gemma had already been there as she lives locally, but it was my first time. It was much larger than I expected inside and had a decent number of customers for a Monday evening.

Our usual drinks are a Guinness and a large Pinot Grigio. However, this time, Gemma just had a Pepsi Max. I've decided to track the price of a Guinness and a large Pinot Grigio in every pub we go to, and at The Thornton, they were £5.50 and £7.45, respectively, or so I was told
