The Burnley Pub Project

If you know me, you'll know I appreciate a good pub. There's just something about the atmosphere that makes me feel right at home, whether I'm with friends, family, or on my own. It's a place to relax and connect.

Lately, I've found a real soft spot for Burnley, and I think its fantastic pub scene has a lot to do with it. Along with the town's famous football fanaticism, there are some cracking pubs here. A bonus? A pint is often a good bit cheaper than in other places I've lived, which is certainly something to celebrate!

Over the last 18 months, I've been enjoying the pubs of Burnley and, like any good IT Engineer, I've been doing a bit of data collection. I've been keeping a keen eye on the price of my favourite tipple, a pint of Guinness, and I've noticed a significant difference from one establishment to another.

This has led me to start a new venture: The Burnley Pub Project. I'm going to visit every single pub in Burnley to document my experiences and share the prices of our favourite drinks. I'm hoping to create a useful guide for locals and visitors alike.

I know I don't always have the best track record when it comes to seeing projects through, but I'm determined to make this one different. I'm excited to share this journey with you and hope you enjoy following along.
