Pub #3: The Boot, Town Centre

Gemma and I went to The Boot this Thursday, which is quickly becoming a regular habit for us as it's their special Curry Night. They serve a few curries that aren't on the main menu, and I'm a big fan of their Naga Chilli Chicken Vindaloo—I do love a hot curry!

We visit this pub quite often because it's usually the cheapest for drinks. I've been used to paying £3.38 for a Guinness and £3.66 for a large Pinot Grigio for the past 18 months, so I was a bit shocked when we visited this week to find the prices had gone up. My Guinness is now £3.49 and a large Pinot Grigio is £3.79. Even with the increase, I still think it's the most affordable pub in Burnley for these drinks, so it won't stop us from going.

In fact, we visit so often that we've practically got our own table—number 23. It's great because we can watch the world go by outside while also keeping an eye on everything happening inside. The pub is a large place, but thankfully, it's one of the few Wetherspoons where you don't have to walk miles to find the toilets!
